Country guide

United Arab Emirates

Close to home, no income tax, international branch campuses, and a residence system tied to your employer or your university.

  • Study applications
  • Work visa, if you already hold an offer

The UAE is the closest of these destinations, has the largest Indian community, and levies no personal income tax. Many international universities operate branch campuses in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, awarding the same degree as the home institution.

Two things to be clear about. Residence is tied to a sponsor, normally your employer or your university, so it is not a route to permanent settlement in the way Canada or Germany can be, although long term visa categories now exist. And the absence of income tax is partly offset by the cost of housing and schooling.

We cover the UAE for study applications. We do not offer a work abroad service for the UAE: recruitment there runs through employers and licensed agencies, and we would be claiming a capability we do not have.

What it costs

Our fee, and everybody else's

Two different piles of money. The second one is almost always larger, and a quote that does not mention it is not cheaper, it is less complete.

Starting prices for the services we run for United Arab Emirates. Every package has a published price and an exclusions list, and the scope is agreed in writing before you pay anything.

  • Study abroad

Shortlisting with the reasoning written next to every university, applications, statement review and the full document set.

    From₹24,000

    What is included
  • Work abroad

Route selection, eligibility scoring and the full application file. Germany and Canada are where we go deepest, but we will work on United Arab Emirates with you either way.

    From₹24,000

    What is included
  • Visa and documentation

File preparation and two full review passes, with the weak points named in writing before you submit rather than after.

    From₹14,000

    What is included
  • Profile building

For people who are not eligible yet. A written plan for the twelve months that would make you eligible, and the work to get there.

    From₹9,000

    What is included

Already have a job offer?
We support work abroad for any country on this site, whether or not you already hold an offer. Where you have one, the work is the visa file. Where you do not, it is route selection, eligibility scoring and the search itself.

These are starting prices. Every package and every exclusion is on the pricing page, at the same figures quoted on a call.

Who is being hired

Occupations in demand in United Arab Emirates

No shortage list. Demand follows the employer, and the Golden Visa gives longer residence to specified professional categories.
  • Construction and project management
  • Healthcare and nursing
  • IT and cybersecurity
  • Finance, audit and compliance
  • Hospitality and aviation
  • Sales and business development

Read this before you plan around it
Being in a shortage occupation is not eligibility. It usually changes a salary threshold, a points score or a processing queue, and it never removes the need to qualify. These lists are also revised often, so treat this as where demand has been concentrated rather than a promise about today.

The bigger picture

Costs that are not fees at all

Tuition, housing and the things that decide whether a plan is affordable in the second year as well as the first.

Tuition at a branch campusCheck whether the award is identical to the home campus and whether it is accredited in the UAE, since those are two different questions.Published per programme, often close to home campus rates
HousingRent is frequently payable in one to four cheques a year rather than monthly, which is a real cash flow issue people do not plan for.The dominant cost, and usually paid in large instalments
Medical test, Emirates ID and visaRequired for residence and time bound after you land.Published fees, paid after arrival
Health insuranceRequired for residence in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.Mandatory
FlightsMuch cheaper and shorter than any other destination on this site, which is a genuine advantage if you need to travel home often.₹15,000 upwards

Refusals

Why applications get refused, and what helps

Almost all of these are mechanical rather than substantive, which means almost all of them are preventable by somebody reading the file carefully before it is submitted.
  1. 01

Attested documents missing or incorrectly attested

    What helps
Educational documents normally need attestation through a defined chain. Start it early, because it is slow and it blocks everything else.

  2. 02

    Failing the medical fitness test

    What helps
It is a condition of residence. Understand what is tested before you commit money to the move.

  3. 03

An institution that is not accredited for your purpose

    What helps
If you intend to use the qualification in India or elsewhere later, confirm recognition in that country too, not only in the UAE.

Immigration rules change constantly, and a page like this is a starting point rather than an authority. Every figure here is approximate and every claim links to the government source that governs it. Before you commit money to any of it, check the current position, or ask us to check it against your profile.

Comparing this against somewhere else

The cheapest sticker price is very often not the cheapest total. Every country page carries the same two cost tabs, so they can be compared line for line.
